Angie Dickinson was born Angeline Brown on September 30, 1931, in Kulm, North Dakota. She grew up on a farm and later studied at the University of North Dakota before moving to California to pursue acting.

Career Highlights

Dickinson became widely known for her role as Sergeant Leann "Pepper" Anderson in the NBC series Police Woman, which aired from 1974 to 1978. She also starred in the 1956 Western Gun the Man Down alongside James Arness and appeared in numerous films and television dramas throughout the 1960s and 1970s.
