Who Are the Duffer Brothers
The Duffer Brothers are American filmmakers and creators of the Netflix series Stranger Things. Matt and Ross Duffer write, direct, and produce the show, which became a global phenomenon shortly after its debut.
Are the Duffer Brothers Christian
Matt and Ross Duffer were raised in a Christian household in Durham, North Carolina. They have attended church services and have referenced Christian themes in interviews. However, they do not frequently discuss personal faith in detail, and their public statements focus more on storytelling and genre influences.
Faith and Public Statements
In interviews, the Duffer Brothers have mentioned spiritual and moral questions in relation to their work. They have cited influences from science fiction, horror, and 1980s pop culture rather than making theology a central part of their public identity. Overall, they come from a Christian background but keep their personal beliefs largely private.
