Carol Singing in London 2021
Carol singing in London returned in 2021 with outdoor and socially distanced events across the capital. Churches, markets, and public squares hosted seasonal performances, often supporting local charities. Many events followed government guidance on gatherings and ventilation.
Where to Join Carol Singing
Popular locations included Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, and the South Bank. St Martin-in-the-Fields and other central churches also held candlelit services. Organisers often posted updated schedules on council and venue websites before the season.
Rules and Safety Measures
In winter 2021, many events required pre-booked tickets and limited capacity. Outdoor settings were common, and singing groups often kept distance from audiences. Check local event pages for the latest requirements before attending.
Charity and Community Impact
Carol singing raised funds for food banks, homeless shelters, and NHS charities across London. Audiences often made donations or bought merchandise to support performers and local causes during the holiday season.
