Who Is the Dashboard Confessional Singer
Dashboard Confessional is an emo band led by singer and guitarist Chris Carrabba. The project began as a solo outlet for Carrabba and later expanded into a full band. The name comes from the song "The Sharp Hint of New Tears" on the album The Swiss Army Romance.

The band gained attention with early releases such as The Swiss Army Romance (2000) and The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most (2001). Later albums include A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar (2003) and Dusk and Summer (2006). Carrabba has continued releasing music and touring under the Dashboard Confessional name.
