How Many People Died on the Carpathia

No passengers or crew members died on the Carpathia during the rescue of Titanic survivors. The ship safely transported 705 survivors to New York, and all survived the journey.

Carpathia’s Role in the Titanic Rescue

The Carpathia responded to Titanic’s distress calls on April 15, 1912, arriving about four hours after the sinking. It picked up survivors from lifeboats and provided medical care and supplies during the voyage to New York.

Aftermath and Historical Context

Although the Carpathia itself suffered no fatalities, the Titanic disaster killed more than 1,500 people. The ship later served in World War I before being sunk by a German submarine in 1918. For more details on the rescue, see History.com.
