How Many Seasons Did How I Met Your Father Have
How I Met Your Father had one season. The series premiered on Hulu in January 2022 and concluded with its final episode later that year. The show was not renewed for a second season.
Episode Count and Format
The single season contained 20 episodes. Each episode followed the framing device of a future Sophie telling her son the story of how she met his father. The series served as a spin-off of the original How I Met Your Mother.
Why the Show Ended After One Season
Hulu decided not to renew the series after its initial run. The cancellation was attributed to lower-than-expected viewership and shifting programming strategies.
