Nick Nelson’s age is best understood by separating the graphic novel timeline from the TV series casting and production information. In Alice Oseman’s graphic novels, Nick is introduced as a 17-year-old student in his final year of secondary school, turning 18 during the span of the story as he moves into university. In the Netflix TV series, casting choices, official show materials, and actor interviews confirm Nick is portrayed as a teenager navigating sixth form and early adulthood, aligning closely with the original ages while adjusting details for a screen adaptation.
