Who Is Wednesday's Mom
Wednesday Addams' mother is Morticia Addams, the matriarch of the fictional Addams Family. She is known for her dark, elegant style and calm demeanor. Morticia is the wife of Gomez Addams and the mother of Wednesday, Pugsley, and, in some versions, Pubert.
How Old Is Morticia Addams
The original Addams Family cartoons by Charles Addams did not specify Morticia's exact age. In the 1960s television series, actress Carolyn Jones portrayed Morticia as a timeless, ageless figure. Modern adaptations, including the 2022 animated film and the Netflix series Wednesday, continue this approach, keeping her appearance and age deliberately ambiguous.
Morticia in the Netflix Wednesday Series
In the Netflix series Wednesday, Morticia is played by Gwendoline Christie. The show does not give her a specific age, focusing instead on her role as a supportive, mysterious mother. Fans and critics note that her ageless look fits the Addams Family tradition, where characters appear eternally stylish and composed.
