Kasim Reed is an American attorney and politician who served as the 59th mayor of Atlanta, Georgia. He held office from January 2010 to January 2018, succeeding Shirley Franklin and preceding Keisha Lance Bottoms. Reed is known for leading the city through a period of major infrastructure and economic development projects.
