What Is the McDonald's Happy Meal Toy Collection?
The McDonald's Happy Meal toy collection refers to the small toys included with Happy Meals, which are targeted at children. These toys often tie into movies, TV shows, or original characters and are sold in participating McDonald's restaurants worldwide. Collectors may focus on specific themes, series, or limited-edition items.
History and Popular Themes
McDonald's introduced Happy Meal toys in 1979, and the line has since featured hundreds of different figures. Common themes include Disney and Pixar films, superhero franchises, and seasonal promotions. Some toys are produced in large quantities, while others are limited to certain regions or time periods, which affects their collectible value.
How to Collect and Find Toys
Collectors often track releases through McDonald's official websites and fan communities. To find current and past toys, you can visit McDonald's Happy Meal product pages on their site or check third-party collector resources. Storing toys in protective cases and keeping packaging can help preserve condition.
