What Is the Most Expensive Song Ever Made
The most expensive song ever made is often cited as Michael Jackson's "Thriller." The music video set a new industry standard for production spending, with costs widely reported to have reached several million dollars.
At the time of its release, the budget for the "Thriller" video was unprecedented for a music video. The project involved elaborate choreography, special effects, and cinematic storytelling that pushed production costs far beyond typical clips.
High-profile music videos have continued to break spending records in later years. Some modern productions have matched or exceeded earlier milestones, but "Thriller" remains a benchmark for cost and cultural impact.
