Lemmy Kilmister

Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister was the founder, bassist, and vocalist of Motorhead. He died on 28 December 2015 in Los Angeles from aggressive prostate cancer and cardiac arrhythmia. He had been the band's only constant member throughout its history.

Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor

Phil Taylor was Motorhead's longtime drummer and a key part of the band's classic lineup. He died on 11 November 2015, less than two months before Lemmy. His death was linked to heart failure following a period of ill health.

Other Former Members

Several other former Motorhead members have also died over the years. Guitarist Larry Wallis, an early member of the band's precursor lineup, died in 2019. Drummer Lucas Fox and guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke both passed away in 2018 and 2018 respectively.
