What Is the NBA All-Time 75 Team?
The NBA 75th Anniversary Team is a list of 76 players chosen in 2021 to celebrate the league's 75th season. The team honors the greatest players in NBA history based on their on-court achievements, championships, and overall impact on the game. The list was created by a panel of media members, former players, and team executives.
How Were the Players Selected?
Voters considered statistics, championships, individual awards, and a player's influence on basketball culture. The criteria emphasized career excellence and sustained dominance across eras. The final group includes Hall of Famers, former MVPs, and multiple champions from different decades.
Notable Names and Legacy
The roster features legends such as LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Tim Duncan, alongside newer stars like Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. It also includes several players who were not on the original 50 Greatest list but were recognized for their contributions.
