Early Life and Titles

Princess Victoria was born on 21 November 1868, the eldest daughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. She was known as "Vicky" in the family and held the title Princess Royal. She grew up in the British royal household and received a rigorous education.

Marriage and Family

In 1890, she married Prince Louis of Battenberg, a British naval officer of German descent. The couple had four children, including Queen Louise of Sweden and Lord Mountbatten. Her marriage linked the British and Battenberg families within European royalty.

Later Life and Legacy

Princess Victoria lived through both World Wars and remained active in public life. She supported charitable causes and maintained close ties with the British royal family. She died on 3 August 1935 and was buried at Frogmore, Windsor.
