Which Restaurants Offer Free Veterans Day Meals
Many national chains and local restaurants provide free or discounted meals on Veterans Day. Participating brands often include major burger, pizza, and casual dining chains. Offers are typically limited to one complimentary entrée for veterans and active military. Some restaurants extend the deal to military spouses and dependents.
To claim a free meal, veterans usually need to show a valid military ID, discharge papers, or proof of service. Some locations accept the VA health identification card or a veterans designation on a driver license. Check the restaurant’s website or call ahead for details, as participation and requirements can vary by location.
How to Find Participating Locations
Visit the official Veterans Day websites or the restaurant’s own promotions page for current lists of participating locations. Many chains publish a store locator or map showing which branches are offering free meals. Local news outlets and veteran service organizations also update lists each year.
