Who Is the Richest Man in the World by Year?
The title of richest man in the world by year often shifts between a small group of billionaires. As of recent years, Elon Musk has frequently topped global wealth rankings, followed by figures such as Bernard Arnault and Jeff Bezos. Annual lists from Forbes and Bloomberg track these changes closely.
How Rankings Change Each Year
Net worth is calculated using public market data, holdings, and currency fluctuations. Stock market swings can move a person up or down within a single year. Mergers, acquisitions, and major business deals also cause big shifts in rankings.
