Who Was Rick Ocasek

Richard Theodore Ocasek was an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band the Cars, which he co-founded in Boston in 1976.

After the band's initial breakup, he pursued a solo career and continued producing albums for other artists. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018 as a member of the Cars.
