Longtime bassist Bill Wyman left in 1993, and the band now features Darryl Jones in that role. Founding Members and Early Lineup

The band formed in London in 1962 with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Ian Stewart, Bill Wyman, and Charlie Watts. Brian Jones was the original leader and guitarist until his death in 1969. Mick Taylor replaced him and played on classic albums before leaving in 1974, followed by Ronnie Wood, who joined in 1975 and remains a key member.
