Where Is Russell Wilson Playing Next Year
Russell Wilson is currently on the Denver Broncos roster heading into the 2025 NFL season. After being traded from the Seattle Seahawks in 2022, he remains the Broncos' primary quarterback under contract. As of the latest reports, he is not expected to be moved again before the start of the next season.
Wilson signed a restructured contract extension with Denver that keeps him under contract through the 2025 campaign. The deal includes significant guarantees and incentives tied to performance and playing time. This contract structure suggests the Broncos intend to build their offense around him for at least the next two seasons.
Before joining the Broncos, Wilson spent the first 13 seasons of his career with the Seattle Seahawks. He was selected seventh overall in the 2012 NFL Draft and led Seattle to a Super Bowl victory in 2013. His trade to Denver in March 2022 was one of the largest in NFL history, involving multiple draft picks and players.
