What Is the Smile Direct Club Whitening Light
The Smile Direct Club whitening light is an LED device designed to be used with the brand’s at-home teeth whitening kits. It is intended to help activate the whitening gel and potentially speed up the brightening process. The kit typically includes the light, a whitening pen or gel, and usage instructions.
How the Whitening Light Works
The light emits a specific wavelength aimed at activating hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide in the gel. This process is meant to break down stains on the tooth surface. Users usually apply the gel to their teeth, then use the light for a set time per session. Results can vary based on diet, oral hygiene, and original tooth color.
Usage Tips and Safety
For best results, follow the instructions in the Smile Direct Club kit exactly. Avoid overuse, which may cause tooth sensitivity or gum irritation. Keep the light and gel away from children. If you have dental restorations, consult a dentist before use. For more details on at-home whitening safety, you can visit American Dental Association tooth whitening guidance.
