What Is Vought Project 2025
Vought Project 2025 refers to the policy agenda developed by the Heritage Foundation, led by Paul Dans and Kevin Roberts. It is a collection of detailed recommendations for a future conservative administration, covering executive branch operations, deregulation, and federal restructuring.
Core Objectives and Structure
The project outlines a plan to reorganize federal agencies, reduce regulatory burdens, and reshape the civil service. It emphasizes a return to a more constrained federal government, with increased presidential control over policy implementation and personnel decisions.
Key Policy Areas and Influence
Major focus areas include energy, immigration, and national security, with proposals to limit federal spending and shift power to state and local levels. The agenda has influenced political discourse and is often cited in discussions about future governance and administrative strategy. For a detailed breakdown of the project's pillars, see the Heritage Foundation's official overview at Project 2025.
