Season 21 episodes began airing in fall 2024 and concluded in February 2025. The season followed ongoing storylines for Meredith Grey and longtime surgeons at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, consistent with the show's medical procedural format. Production announcements for additional seasons have not been issued after Season 21's finale.
Renewal outlook and what to watch for
Historically, Grey's Anatomy has renewed annually. As of February 2025, ABC and Shondaland have not confirmed a Season 22 order, so the show remains in a pending renewal window.
