Early Childhood in Hawaii
Dwayne Douglas Johnson was born in Hayward, California, but he spent much of his early childhood in Hawaii. His father, Rocky Johnson, was a professional wrestler, and his mother, Ata Maivia, came from a Samoan wrestling family.
