Primary Filming Location
Stranger Things was filmed primarily in and around Atlanta, Georgia. Most interior scenes and many exterior shots were completed at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, Georgia.
Jackson, Georgia

Additional filming took place across the state, including the Georgia Mental Health Institute and the former Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium site. The show also used locations in and around the greater Atlanta metro area.
