Primary Filming Locations for Kaos
Kaos was primarily filmed on location in Greece, with Athens serving as the central backdrop for the modern retelling of Greek myths. Production teams utilized recognizable urban and coastal areas around the capital to ground the story in a contemporary setting while referencing ancient tales.
UK Studio and Supporting Work
Additional filming took place in the United Kingdom, with studio work and controlled environments supporting the series' visual effects and complex scenes. This hybrid approach allowed the production to combine authentic Greek exteriors with high-end post-production and set extensions.
Why Filming in Greece Matters
Shooting in Greece provided immediate access to historic landscapes, iconic architecture, and Mediterranean light that align with the show's mythological themes. For more details on the production background, you can visit BBC Kaos series information.
