Who Is Performing the Halftime Show on Thanksgiving?
On Thanksgiving Day, the NFL hosts a halftime show during the late afternoon game, typically following the Detroit Lions or Dallas Cowboys matchup. The performers are professional recording artists and bands selected by the league and its broadcast partners. In recent years, the show has featured pop, R&B, and country acts tied to current chart performance and broad audience appeal. For the latest confirmed lineup, check the official NFL site.
Halftime Show Details and Broadcast Information
The halftime show airs during the broadcast of the Thanksgiving NFL game, usually lasting around 12 to 15 minutes. Networks such as CBS, Fox, NBC, and ESPN carry the game and performance, with exact timing depending on the schedule and commercial breaks. The performance is also streamed live on NFL digital platforms and partner services.
Thanksgiving Day Entertainment Beyond the Halftime Show
In addition to the NFL halftime show, Thanksgiving Day programming includes the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which features musical performers, floats, and balloons. The parade airs nationally in the morning, while the evening game and halftime show follow later. Both events are scheduled annually by the NFL and Macy's, with performers announced in advance through official press releases and partner websites.
