Current Major Party Nominees
As of the latest updates, the major party nominees are former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. Both have secured enough delegates and state victories to become their party's standard-bearer. Their campaigns now focus on the general election, including debates, fundraising, and swing-state outreach.
Other Candidates and Ballot Access
Several independent and third-party candidates are still on the ballot in multiple states, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Cornel West, and Jill Stein. These candidates can influence the race by drawing votes in close states. Most have met state-specific filing deadlines and signature requirements to appear on the ballot.
How to Track the Race
Election tracking sites and official state election pages provide live delegate counts, ballot access maps, and polling data. Voters can use these resources to see which candidates remain active and where they appear on the ballot.
