Will There Be a Wednesday Season 2
As of now, Netflix has not officially renewed Wednesday for a second season. The first season, which premiered in November 2022, concluded with unresolved storylines and a cliffhanger ending. Because the series is based on the long-running Addams Family franchise, a continuation is considered likely, but no formal greenlight has been announced.
What Is Known About a Potential Wednesday Season 2
Creator Alfred Gough and Miles Millar have expressed interest in returning for another season. Jenna Ortega, who stars as Wednesday Addams, has also hinted at future storylines in interviews. Production timelines depend on Netflix’s final decision, script development, and scheduling for the cast and crew.
When Could Wednesday Season 2 Release
Netflix typically announces renewals several months after a series debuts. Given the popularity of the first season, an official renewal could come within the next year. If confirmed, a release window in late 2025 or 2026 would align with standard streaming production cycles, though this remains speculative until an official statement is made.
