Women's Skateboarding at the Olympics

Women's skateboarding entered the Olympic program at the 2020 Tokyo Games and returned for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The sport is governed by the World Skate Olympic Commission and the International Olympic Committee.

Olympic Disciplines and Events

The Olympics currently feature two women's disciplines: park and street. In park, athletes ride a hollowed-out concrete bowl with transitions and airs. In street, athletes use ramps, rails, stairs, and ledges to perform tricks. Both disciplines award medals based on run and trick scores judged by panels.

Key Results and Athletes

At Tokyo 2020, Japan's Sakura Yosozumi won women's park gold, and Momiji Nishiya of Japan took street gold. At Paris 2024, new medalists emerged as the field expanded. Detailed results and athlete profiles are available on the official Olympic website olympics.com.
